Our White Plains community is truly a wonderful place and the growth have been nothing less than phenomenal over the years.
As a result, a pack (cub scouts) and troop (boy scouts) was established in 2010 and we haven't looked back since then. This is the
only troop of its kind in Westchester county and is Shabbat observant. What this means is that no planning or activities takes place
which conflicts with Shabbat observance and all food is strictly kosher. We follow all Jewish customs, laws and traditions (where
children and families of all denominations can feel comfortable with the scheduling of activities and goals, regardless of their resp
-ective religious affiliations). We would never want to place a child or their family in an uncomfortable position where they have
to choose between the two.
